Every business that we work with is unique, and therefore, every web design is completely different. For this reason, this question is not easily answered before understanding what you currently have, what you would like to have and finally, the budget you need to work within. At YostratO, we take our time to understand your business, asking you questions and taking a look at any previous platforms you have. By doing this, we can then provide a quote based on a number of elements. Wherever possible, we will work within your budget range and be completely transparent on what you can expect with the funds you are able to spend.
We understand that your website is an integral part of your business and wider marketing strategy, which is why we will try to work to your timelines wherever possible. The pace of our website development packages is generally set by individual clients. We will need to understand how much input you would like to have, when you will be available for feedback and discussions and when your content will be ready (don’t worry, we have a copywriter who can help if you need them!) Dependent on the complexity of your website, we normally aim for a 6–8-week turnaround but will be honest with you from the beginning on how long you can expect your website build to take.
We won’t lie that WordPress sites really are our bread and butter. There is so much to love about a WordPress site, including the flexibility it offers our clients if they choose to manage and update their sites individually in the future. WordPress offers great functionality, and we find this platform is the best way forward for many of our clients. However, if you choose not to work with a WordPress site, we won’t turn our backs on you or your project and will try to work with you to find a suitable solution. Alongside our experience working with WordPress websites, we also work closely with Shopify, bootstrap templates for custom sites, WooCommerce and Webflow.
When you are choosing to work with a website developer, it is always a great idea to consider the location of your chosen team. This becomes particularly important when you are working up an SEO strategy to help you conquer the online world. That being said, as we work online, we are able to (and do) help businesses all over the country with their website design, development, and SEO strategy. Although we enjoy meeting up for a cup of tea and a chat about your site, we know that this is always practical – even for the businesses on our doorstep. As long as you are happy with our location, we are happy to work with you.
There is nothing worse than having a site built for you, only to find that the developers have either locked you out of everything or not given you the tools to manage your site independently. Often, we find that clients come to us and explain this as the reason why their website is now malfunctioning, lacking updates, or not working. At YostratO, once we have finished building the perfect site for your brand, we will give you all the training and tools you need to be able to update and manage your site independently. If you get stuck along the way, we will still be here to support you wherever you need us.
Whilst we provide all the tools and training, some of our clients either don’t have the time or the inclination to manage and maintain their own sites, and that’s fair enough when we are on your speed dial. For those who can’t stand the idea of maintaining their own sites, need some ad hoc support or don’t have the time to keep their site running, YostratO will absolutely support you with this service on an ongoing basis. The last thing we want is for you or your website to run into an issue, as no one was able to maintain it.
Over half of UK residents now do most of their internet scrolling whilst on their phones, so to have a website that is not mobile-friendly is like having a car with no tyres. During every stage of our planning, designing and development process, we will ensure that not only is your website mobile compatible, but it looks fantastic and provides a simple and effective platform for your current, potential, and future clients who happen to be scrolling through your pages.
We understand that times are hard, particularly for small businesses and start-ups. That’s why we offer complete flexibility on our payment terms, so you are confident and comfortable in the knowledge that you are not going to be hit with a huge bill from the moment your site goes live – or worse before the design stage has even begun. No matter your position, you have the right to a fantastic website that works for you and drive your marketing strategy, so get in touch, explain the situation, and we will do our best to support you in every way possible.
We work with clients from a variety of different industries, who all have different levels of input into the design and development of their sites. At the very least, it would be great to get an understanding of what you would like your site to look like, who you are trying to target with your website and if there are any other sites you like the look of, so we have a solid base to start developing. Throughout the project, we will organise catch-up calls with you where we will ask you for feedback on certain elements and get an idea from you as to whether you are happy with the direction your site is going in.
This is completely up to you. If you have a knack for writing and you know your business perfectly, we always suggest that the content comes from yourself, to begin with. If you are looking for an SEO strategy, our in-house copywriter will support you in getting your content ready for SEO optimisation. Alternatively, if the thought of writing for your website worries you, if you don’t have the time to get the content completed or if you would prefer to hand this over to a copywriter from the beginning, our copywriter is more than happy to support you and will work with you directly throughout the project to ensure you are happy with the content drafts before they are uploaded to your website. Before your site goes live, our copywriter will also make one final check of the site, regardless of whether she has written the content, to ensure there are no grammar or spelling mistakes and no missing sections.
This answer will all depend on the size of your website and the requirements it has. We will advise on the ideal hosting platforms based on whether your site is a simple brand platform or if you have a complex eCommerce site that will take a great deal of traffic. YostratO only hosts websites within the UK, so we can be sure of its security, flexibility, and the availability of the host companies’ team. We operate with multiple different options, so we can be sure that we can offer the right hosting solution for your business whilst remaining price competitive.
We aren’t planning on designing you a great website and then disappearing overnight. Even after we have handed your website over to you, we will always welcome you to come back to us with any support, maintenance or concerns you may have. YostratO aims to be a seamless extension of your marketing and support team, so whether we have built your website, or you need help with an existing website we haven’t supported before, our doors are open, and our phone lines are free! Get in contact to discuss your website today.
